The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, March 7, tease that Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzales) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will arrive at the courthouse, and Mia will insist on being there to support her incredible husband. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will wonder why Rey is testifying, and Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) will say that she’s calling Rey.
Rey’s Put On The Stand
Brittany will begin her examination of Rey, and she’ll question him about how he came to arrest Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni), and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). He’ll say that Sharon confessed to him, and she’ll ultimately force him to say that the confession occurred at her home.
Rey will explain that he noticed a 911 call on Sharon’s phone bill on the date of JT Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) disappearance, and Brittany will ask him if he told Sharon that he was in love with her. Rey will attempt to skirt the question, but Brittany will remind him he’s under oath, and he’ll admit it, much to Mia’s chagrin.
Brittany will bring out that Rey and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) had spoken about the need for a strong case, and Brittany will accuse Rey of coercing a confession out of Sharon by declaring his love for her. Rey will deny this, but he’ll also profess to be a happily married man, and Brittany will proceed to document how Rey insinuated himself into Sharon’s life little by little.
When Christine cross-examines Rey, Rey will claim that Sharon was not under any duress when she confessed and that he did not trick her into confessing. He’ll also say that he didn’t read her rights because he wasn’t there to arrest her. Christine will also get Rey to point out that Phyllis later corroborated Sharon’s confession.
After Rey’s testimony, Mia will be angry, but Christine will demand he return to the station, where she will read him the riot act about his testimony. Rey will apologize and ask Christine if she wants his resignation.
Meanwhile, in the courtroom, Nikki and Victoria will confront Sharon about confessing to Rey, while Sharon wonders whether Rey played her from the get-go. Then Michael will tell Nikki and Victoria that the jury now needs to hear Victoria testify. He will say that he’s putting domestic violence on trial.
Summer And Kyle Make A Deal
At the GCAC, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will discuss their deal, then Kyle will leave and Phyllis will arrive and learn that her daughter is engaged. Phyllis will express surprise and ask if she’s pregnant, but Summer will say that they love each other.
Kyle will go to the hospital and tenderly tell an unconscious Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) that they’ve found a donor for her and that everything will be ok. Kyle will tell her that everything will be all right and that for the first time he understands what it means to put someone else’s happiness above his own. Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) will appear and Kyle will tell him that Summer has agreed to be the anonymous donor.
Kyle will then head back to the GCAC, where Phyllis and Summer are still talking. Phyllis will want to hear all about the engagement from Kyle, and Kyle will feed Phyllis a line about him and Lola wanting different things and how he and Summer are a better match. Summer will leave, and Phyllis will privately tell Kyle that Summer is more vulnerable than she lets on, and if he reneges on the engagement, then she’ll be devastated.
Kerry Bribes Jack
At the Abbott estate, Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will share wine and food. Kerry will tell Jack that Phyllis asked her to come up with a signature product to signify a new era at Jabot. Jack will say that perhaps it is time to worry if Phyllis wants to change the narrative regarding her leadership, and he’ll ask Kerry to keep him informed of Phyllis’ plans.
Kerry will express displeasure that Jack’s asking her to betray Phyllis, but Jack won’t apologize. Then Kerry says that if she betrays Phyllis, then there would have to be something in it for her. Jack will say that if he’s back in charge at Jabot, the possibilities would be limitless. Kerry will say that she needs an offer in writing.
Finally, at Rey and Mia’s apartment, Mia will arrive home from court and take a sip of beer. She’ll then realize that she’s supposed to be pregnant, and Rey will walk through the door. She’ll tell him that she was so upset that she nearly drank, and then she’ll confront him about what happened in court earlier. She’ll be peeved because now everyone knows that he’s in love with another woman.
