The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, March 18 finds that everyone is still mourning the sudden loss of Caroline Spencer (last played by Linsey Godfrey). Thomas is worried about his son Douglas and their future while the family recalls some of their special memories of Caroline.
Everyone gathers at Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house. Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) holds Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) close while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is on the phone. Ridge can’t help but confide in Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and tells her that he still misses her sister. Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) thanks Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for showing up, despite her checkered history with Thomas. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) also says that she’s glad Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) got to spend the time he has with Caroline.

Thomas then gathers everyone in the room and thanks them for supporting him and Douglas. Taylor gives him a much-needed hug and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) tells him that he’s also there for him. Thomas admits that he’s feeling a little lost right now and asks for help for the memorial service. Quinn Sofer (Rena Sofa) chimes in and says that she will help take care of all the details.
Steffy checks in on her girls back at home. She confides in Liam that she misses her brother and that she wants to be there for the family, but at the same time wants to go to Paris. She thinks the distance will be good for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), who is still acting very clingy to the girls. Hope, meanwhile, is spending some time with Douglas. They talk about Caroline until Douglas makes a special request. He asks Hope if she can make him some mac-and-cheese, but only how his mother used to do it.

While Douglas and Hope are making lunch together in the kitchen, Thomas tells everyone else in the gathering room that they did not witness Caroline’s death. Thomas is worried about Douglas growing up without a mother, but Quinn and everyone else reassures him that he will never be alone. Taylor, meanwhile, asks Steffy about her situation with Liam. Steffy reminds her that Hope is still grieving the loss of her child. Ridge then tells everyone to recall their best memories of Caroline. Taylor goes into the kitchen and sees Hope with young Douglas. Hope tells the young boy that his mother is now an angel in heaven that is looking after him. Douglas then says that he misses his mother and a tearful and emotional Hope gives him a hug.
