General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will be getting the Quartermaine mansion ready for a guest this week, as terminally ill teenager Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt) enters the final stage of his life. As General Hospital viewers know, Oscar has been getting worse and worse as his brain tumor has become aggressive over the last few weeks and months, and as his teenage romance with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has become more and more serious!
In what has got to be equal in sadness to the saddest General Hospital storylines of all time, namely BJ Jones (Brighton Hertford) being killed in a school bus accident and her heart being donated to a young Maxie Jones (then Robyn Richards), and the love story of AIDS-afflicted Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) and a teenage Robin Scorpio, now Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) Oscar will soon die, leaving Josslyn bereft and heartbroken, as well as his parents Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun).
GH Spoilers– Oscar Will Not Get Better!
As General Hospital viewers will recall, Oscar’s brain tumor started when he was a child, and just stayed small for several years, and Kim came to Port Charles with Oscar after doing a genealogy DNA search, and found Oscar was had relatives in Port Charles, although she didn’t know it was the Quartermaines right away.

At the time she had no idea that she would find Oscar’s father, Drew Cain in Port Charles as well, who had been reported AWOL by the Navy; in reality, of course, he had been kidnapped and taken to Cassadine Island. She found out when she was invited to the Corinthos Thanksgiving dinner because Joss and Oscar had started dating, and then Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was at the dinner table and she thought he was Drew!

Then Jason put her in touch with the real Drew and warned her that they no longer looked like identical twins. Jason had just learned the whole story about his twin and how he was found and came to Port Charles recently himself since he had also just returned recently after being held captive for five years!
It looks like Oscar’s death might take place by the end of April or early part of May; stay tuned to General Hospital and keep checking General Hospital spoilers for all the latest news, updates and developments!
