Young and the Restless Spoilers--Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is returning much sooner than originally believed.  For whatever reason, many viewers thought he would return in the early summer. However, a Y&R script leak proved that was not correct, as Adam is listed as a character appearing in the Tuesday, May 14 episode of Y&R. Here what we know about what’s ahead on the CBS soap opera.

Adam Returns To Y&R Soon

A script leak posted on Y&R Fanatics Facebook page stated, “Looks like scenes for May 14th will include the following characters: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) , Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle),  Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman),  Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni),  Summer Newman (Hunter King), and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman).”

Just because it listed all those characters’ names in the script, that doesn’t mean they will be in the same scenes.  These are all the characters that will appear on the May 14 episode of Y&R.

The script leak was by Jason Canela, the actor who plays Arturo Rosales.  Canela is on his way out and should be exiting the soap opera in the next few weeks.

Many Y&R fans assumed Adam would return in the early summer. However, CBS had not confirmed or hinted when they would bring the character back.  It appears they were gearing up for his return when they had Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) acting very suspiciously in Las Vegas.

Mark Grossman Debuts On The Young And The Restless

The new face of Adam will have an uphill battle to prove he deserves the role. Many Y&R fans are calling for his failure before he even debuts on the show.  Some social media viewers are going as far as to vow to stop watching since Michael Muhney was not rehired to reprise the role.  None of that is Grossman’s fault.

The talented actor auditioned for a role and earned it based on his acting ability.  Perhaps, he will shock the Y&R fanbase with his ability to portray Adam in a completely new way.
