Thankfully, Flo Fulton-Logan’s (Katrina Bowden) mother is in town on The Bold and the Beautiful? Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) might be able to help her daughter’s life from unraveling. But any information that Shauna withholds from Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) will test, or could eventually serve to end their friendship.
B&B viewers recently gained deep insight into the backstory of Quinn and her son Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). It’s a small, soapy world, as Flo and Wyatt were high school sweethearts in Nevada. Thankfully they weren’t also cousins, as the late Storm Logan (William deVry) was just revealed as Flo’s presumed dad. Whether that biological connection holds is another issue to be addressed on a different day.
B&B Spoilers– Shauna Struggles To Protect Flo
Flo’s positive link to the Logan family is something that Shauna wants to protect. These are people of great means, who also seem to be decent and have been fully welcoming so far.

That indicates that Flo might be able to live a high-level life, but in order to do so, she must resist the urge to tell her cousin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), that she didn’t give birth to Phoebe Forrester (Isabella de Armas and Redford Prindiville), who is actually Beth Spencer.
Quinn’s advice to Shauna, when asked about an undefined dilemma, will be to forget about the past and look ahead. Of course, Shauna won’t have directly told Quinn what issue she’s referencing which elicits said advice. That exact conversation establishes what could prove to be the genesis of a coming friendship break when the Beth-Phoebe story breaks.
Bold And Beautiful Spoilers– Shauna And Quinn’s Friendship Will Be Tested
It’s not that Shauna is a dishonest person, as the dialogue between Richards and Bowden indicated. She affirmed that Flo has integrity, which indicated that’s who she was raised to be. In effect, the elder Fulton is looking to protect the young lady who appears to be her only child. Shauna’s motivation is sure to reference when Quinn eventually calls her out.
Hope’s instincts were right, Flo is a good person. However, the situation Bowden’s emotionally tortured character allowed herself to be drawn into with Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) was morally wrong and broke various laws, which is why Flo continues to feel compelled to tell the truth.
Shauna’s maternal instincts are kicking in. At the same time, Quinn’s son has unknowingly involved himself in a deeply complex situation. And that’s the well-written conflict B&B is presenting.
As always, more detailed spoilers and a full collection of pictures for the week in question will appear on Soap Opera Spy, where there will be more clues and hints over exactly what’s going on.
