General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Hendrickson, who formerly played Chloe Mitchell on The Young and the Restless, and currently plays DA Margaux Dawson on General Hospital, may soon be pulling double duty returning to The Young and The Restless as Chloe while remaining on General Hospital as Margaux!
During the Daytime Emmys, where The Young and The Restless won big for best daytime drama, Elizabeth posted a picture on social media with returning The Young and The Restless actor Greg Rikaart, most recently on Days of Our Lives as Leo Stark, who will be reprising his role as Kevin Fisher, Chloe’s husband.
She stated with the photo, “There’s a lot of love in this picture. And a lot more to come! #daytimeemmys #actress#chloemitchell.”
That seems to be a hint of things to come, although there have been no announcements of Elizabeth leaving General Hospital or any indications in General Hospital storylines of Margaux Dawson leaving the Port Charles canvas.
Elizabeth Hendrickson Returns To Y&R?
Elizabeth’s return to Genoa City appears to tie in with the Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) return-from-the-dead storyline where her The Young and The Restless alter ego Chloe drugged Adam, shooting him with a tranquilizer dart and imprisoning him in a cabin which later exploded, leaving Adam presumably dead.
She ended her time with The Young and The Restless in February 2017. Melissa Claire Egan will also be returning as Chelsea Newman, along with Adam.
Greg Rikaart has already started filming at The Young and The Restless although there has been no airdate announced for his first appearance; it could be assumed that Chloe will appear either with Kevin Fisher or shortly after, so fans could hear more about Elizabeth starting to film at The Young and The Restless soon.
WIll She Do Double Duty At GH?
Two General Hospital stars have already moved over to The Young and The Restless recently, Brytni Sarpy, who played the first Valerie Spencer there and now plays Elena Dawson on The Young and The Restless, and Michelle Stafford, who played Nina Reeves and will soon reprise Phyllis Summers, although Elizabeth didn’t indicate she was leaving General Hospital.
If she pulls double duty and plays both characters on both shows, she will be in good company, with Tristan Rogers also migrating between the two shows, as Robert Scorpio on General Hospital and Colin Atkinson on The Young and The Restless.
Stay tuned to General Hospital and keep checking GH spoilers for the latest news, updates and spoilers, and The Young and The Restless spoilers as well for Elizabeth’s first appearance over there!
