The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will push his brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) a little too far as he demands $500M, custody of Christian, and Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) whereabouts. All of it is too much for Nick to process as he is left feeling outraged and feeling under attack.
And through everything Nick is going through with Adam, his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) keeps trying to convince him that there is no evil plan at work. Nick knows different and he realizes that he will have to address the issue for himself and protect himself and his son, Christian. Here’s what Joshua Morrow had to say about what’s ahead for Nick.
Y&R Spoilers —Nick Is Stunned By Adam’s Demands
“This is almost laughable,” Joshua told Soap Opera Digest. “But it is not a funny situation, at all. Adam is everything Nick expected, but Victor has been trying to convince Nick that there’s nothing devious going on with Adam and him being in Genoa City is a good thing, but Nick never believed it. Now, it’s become Nick’s worst fear because Adam wants to fight him for custody of Christian.”
Nick delivers his answer to Adam by basically telling him “hell no” and refused to give up custody of his son. Y&R spoilers state that Nick points out that Adam lost his right to custody when he changed the paternity test results to show that he wasn’t the dad. Even so, Adam counters that with he is his biological child and he has legal rights to him. And deep down, Nick knows he is right, too.
Young And Restless Spoilers—Nick’s World Is Crushed
Morrow points out that Nick and Christian have a great bond. They have been alone together since Chelsea left. And, the idea that Adam can come in and demand equal time with his kid is baffling to Nick. The way Christian sees Adam is that he is a complete stranger.
Y&R spoilers tease that Nick feels he has the upper hand on this because his name is on Christian’s birth certificate. Adam would have to challenge that in the court system, and Nick doesn’t think he’d go that route. However, he shouldn’t be so sure.
It doesn’t sound like Adam is ready to back down and either is Nick. So, the battle over Christian and Chelsea will get ugly and messy between the brothers. There is no way this will end without serious family turmoil.
