“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, June 19, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will join Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at Newman Enterprises. In Victor’s office, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) gives Victor an exam and reports that there’s been no change in his condition. However, Nate appreciates the fact that Victor’s in good spirits. Vic admits he feels like the news about his health will bring his kids together.
After Nate exits, Nikki turns Victor’s attention to the custody case. When Victor expresses support for Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) side of the fight, Nikki suggests he should tell Nick he’s behind him. Later, Nikki runs into Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) at Crimson Lights. They discuss the lawsuit Victor filed against the GCPD, which leads Paul to suggest Victor should go down for the count.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Opens up To Paul
Nikki gets upset over the remark and takes off, so Paul follows her to the park. He convinces her to open up about her problems, so Nikki swears her friend to secrecy and confesses that Victor’s quite ill. Paul consoles Nikki and pushes her to concentrate on what she has instead of what she might lose.
Meanwhile, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) blasts Nate for leaving her in the dark on Victor’s health. She’s done with men who can’t be honest with her, but Nate thinks she knows why he couldn’t say anything. Abby concedes that Nate’s right and offers an apology. She’s just afraid of losing Victor. Abby’s never really felt like part of the Newman clan anyway and he’s her only parent left in Genoa City.

Nate shares some kind words and convinces Abby to be his date for Society’s special event. They’re dedicating the stage to Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), so Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) hopes Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) will attend. Unfortunately, Lily calls and reveals she can’t make it. Her first class is graduating and that’s her priority, so she suggests she’ll watch the recorded version of the dedication.
Lily isn’t eager to stay on the phone long, so she keeps it short and sweet. Cane seems hurt after Lily hangs up. Next, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) does some writing at home. She gets back to work on her story, but Cane interrupts by ringing the doorbell. He insists he needs Traci and wonders if she’ll be his date for the dedication. Traci decides to be Cane’s plus one, so we’ll see where this leads.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Michael And Adam Argue
At Dark Horse, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) argues that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) deal with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) is off. Adam doesn’t think so since Michael has no leverage. It’s not like he can go rant to the police about a dead woman being kidnapped. Adam adds that it wouldn’t work out well for Michael’s legal career.
Michael notes that his mind can be dark and twisted like Adam’s when necessary. When the Newman black sheep doesn’t seem wary, Michael contends that Adam shouldn’t say he didn’t warn him. At the tack house, Victor shows up to lay down the law with Adam. He warns his son to drop this custody battle, but Adam points out that Victor went after Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen), too.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Kicks Adam Out
Victor and Adam’s shouting match escalates, which leads to Vic suggesting he should’ve left his son in Las Vegas. Adam clearly likes playing the role of outsider, so his father agrees to let him play it. Victor orders Adam to get off his property since he’s so insistent on throwing away his second chance.
