The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, June 28: Chelsea Halts Adam and Nick’s Fierce Fight – Billy Gets a Gun, Has Big Plans for Adam
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, June 28, tease that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) won’t have much time to explain. At the cemetery, Chloe assures Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that it’s really her. She needs Billy’s help, so she quickly admits she shot Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and was held hostage. Chloe believes Adam’s forcing Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) to do his dirty work now.
Billy vows to handle it, but he wonders if maybe there’s a legal way out of Chloe’s problems. He considers whether a good attorney could get Chloe off the hook, but she doesn’t want to risk blowing her family. Chloe doesn’t want Billy going after Adam either. She just wants him to make sure Kevin comes home to her, so Billy promises to get it done and contact her later.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy’s Got A Gun
At the Abbott mansion, Billy makes sure he’s alone before getting out a gun. Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she irritates Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) with her Dark Horse news. Sharon thinks Phyllis is a backstabber who pulled Adam toward the dark side, but Phyllis suggests the Newmans would’ve had problems regardless.
Phyllis also takes jabs about Adam’s love for Adam and how Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) must feel about their bond. She doesn’t buy that Sharon can put the bad boy behind her. Meanwhile, Adam gets updates on the dirt Kevin found. He’s thrilled over Kevin’s find, which is a video of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) taking off his J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) mask.

Unfortunately, Kevin has proven himself too valuable. Adam can’t let him go, so he reminds Kevin that he kidnapped Phyllis and uses that as leverage. Soon after, Adam runs into Sharon and shuts down her attempt at a confrontation. He doesn’t want to debate the Phyllis drama and thinks they should just keep their distance. Kevin also sees Phyllis briefly, but he gets flustered and dashes off.
Across town, Rey tells Nick that Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) wants to put Adam behind her, so she’s refusing to answer his questions. Nick advises Rey to head out to Vegas and try his luck in person. When Sharon brings up the idea of a getaway later, Rey mentions his Vegas plans. Sharon knows this must be about Adam and decides she’ll come along. She feels some time out of town would be good for them.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick’s Faceoff With Adam
Back with Nick, he arrives at Dark Horse after being summoned by his brother. Adam shows off the video and expects Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) at his place tonight. Nick insists his son isn’t going anywhere. The police already know about all the J.T. mask mayhem. Adam still believes the video shows Nick is unstable and an unfit parent. Their argument escalates until they’re nearly punching each other.
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) suddenly barges in and yells for them to stop it right now. They look at her in shock. At the cemetery again, Chloe’s there with Kevin as they struggle to say goodbye to Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono). Kevin assures Chloe of his love and lets her know everything’s going to be OK.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’s agitated by Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Ana Hamilton’s (Loren Lott) attempts to help. Devon insists he can talk to his therapist about the panic attack. Ana and Nate are concerned about the way Devon’s holding onto Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). He eventually gets out some old GC Buzz DVDs and admits he enjoys watching them.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Wants To Keep Hilary’s Memory Alive
Devon wants to see Hilary smile and hear her laugh again. He uses the footage to keep Hilary’s memory alive, but Ana doesn’t think that’s the best tactic. Hilary’s memory has to carry on inside Devon. She thinks Devon has to find strength through Hilary and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) as he heads down a new path.
Devon ultimately begins boxing up the DVDs, but he ends up bailing on the task and taking off. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Devon will indeed find closure next week, so let’s hope it sticks. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R details and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s ahead in Genoa City.
