Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Haley Chen And JJ Deveraux Declare Their Love For Each Other
Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that now that Haley Chen (Thia Megia) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) can freely be together, since Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) and Haley’s green card marriage was probably invalidated with her deportation.
Haley and JJ have had almost as many obstacles in their path to a happily ever after as Will Horton (Chandler Massey)and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) have, but at least one of them hasn’t had a brain tumor and a last minute-save from it, although Haley had a pretty good case of smoke inhalation when she was rescued from the Horton Cabin!
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – A True Love Story
The unusual way they met is also the root of the deep bond they have with each other; approximately a year before JJ met Haley, he had tried to commit suicide out of guilt over his accidental shooting of Theo Carver (Kyle Pettis) although he was later cleared; then he came in from an EMT run to Salem University Hospital and found Haley unconscious near the nurses’ station and saved her life and stayed with her until she was out of the woods.
As Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, at first Haley was angry with him because she didn’t want to live, but eventually, as JJ included her more and more into his life and that of his friends, Haley felt more of a sense of acceptance and belonging that overrode her deep pain.
But then, as the two of them were really starting to bond and to fall in love with one another, JJ’s father, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and his evil girlfriend, now wife, Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva) and their mayoral campaign happened!
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Haley’s Green Card Drama
Haley had slowly grown to trust JJ enough to tell him about her immigration problem, and he told her he would keep her secret, but then misplaced trust in his father and confided it to him, and Jack betrayed his own son and Haley both by making her a poster child for his anti-illegal immigration platform!
That put a rift between the two and they tried to come up with a plan to avoid Haley’s deportation, which resulted in her green card marriage to Tripp Dalton (if she’d have married JJ to begin with all these problems could have been avoided, but she was too mad at him) which ultimately led to her and Tripp nearly being burned up in a fire set by Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Haley’s being deported anyway!
But now that her green card problem has apparently been solved by her much older sister who admitted she was her mother, Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen) and Haley is back in Salem, JJ and she can finally have a chance at a happily ever after, and in Friday’s episode they will finally declare their love and consummate their relationship!
