The Young and the Restless Star Hunter King Shares Emotional GoodbyeUnfortunately, Hunter King fans will be seeing a little less of their favorite actress on the small screen. That’s because her primetime television show Life in Pieces has been canceled by the CBS network. The actress, who is also best known for her role as Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless, recently shared a message with her fans while also making it pretty clear that she is going to miss the cast and crew of her show. Here’s what she has to say.

The blonde beauty took to her Instagram account to write a bittersweet and heartfelt goodbye to the sitcom that she loved being a part of these last few years. Created by Justin Adler, a lot of fans enjoyed the show and critics hailed it as one of the strongest family comedy sitcoms on primetime television. Along with Hunter King, it also starred Betsy Brandt, Zoe Lister-Jones, Colin Hanks, Angelique Cabral, Thomas Sadoski, Dan Bakkedahl, Niall Cunningham, Holly J. Barrett, and Giselle Eisenberg.

Hunter wrote, “Tonight is the series finale of LIFE IN PIECES… crazy how fast these four years have flown by. This first picture was from the beginning of season two when I had just become a series regular, and saw ‘Clementine’ posted on my trailer. I was so excited and had to get a picture with it, even though you can’t see what the hell it says, ha ha! I’m so grateful for these last few years and the memories I have made from filming such an amazing show with such great people. Thank you for letting me play Clementine.”

If that weren’t enough, Hunter also shared some of her favorite behind the scenes photos from her four years on the show. She admitted that it was pretty hard to just choose a few simply because she had so many great memories from the show. She wrote, “I have a million pictures. It was hard to choose just 10!”
