The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, July 29 tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle) will find themselves stunned as they try to process what Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) has just uttered. As B&B viewers know, Douglas overheard Liam and Hope quietly arguing about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and when the topic turned to their daughter Beth Spencer, Douglas interjected and stated that “baby Beth is alive.”

Douglas’ statement stunned both Liam and Hope, and it looks like Hope will address things with Douglas on Monday’s B&B episode. According to B&B spoilers, the big Beth reveal won’t occur for several more days, so Hope will likely assume that Douglas was referring to Beth being “alive” in Hope’s heart. Douglas has recently dealt with the death of his mother Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) and there’s been a lot of talk about her being “alive in his heart,” so Hope will probably assume that’s where Douglas is coming from.
Of course, we can’t forget that while all of this is going on, Thomas will be in the next room with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) putting Phoebe Forrester (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) down for a nap. And Douglas knows that he’s not supposed to be talking about Beth to anyone, so he may clam up pretty quickly.

However, for Liam, Douglas’ statement probably stirred up some big suspicions. As B&B viewers know, Liam had a noticeable reaction when Douglas stated that “baby Beth is alive.” Liam knows that Thomas has a big secret that he’s threatened Florence “Flo” Fulton (Katrina Bowden) about, and he suspects that Flo may not have given birth to Phoebe. And to now hear Thomas’ son say that Beth is alive…well, it’s likely going to get Liam thinking.

Next, on Monday’s episode of B&B, Thomas and Hope will end up going on their “staycation” honeymoon. They’ll leave Douglas with Steffy and Liam, and since B&B spoilers indicate that someone unexpected is going to give Liam information regarding Beth, it’s possible that Douglas will open up a bit more and share what he overheard from his father to Liam.
We wouldn’t be surprised if Liam takes Douglas aside and gently questions him a bit more about his Beth statement. Liam is putting two and two together pretty quickly, and Douglas could really amp Liam up if he reveals that the also heard his father say that “Phoebe is Beth.” We’ll have to wait until Monday’s episode to see if that happens!

As Hope and Thomas’ “staycation” honeymoon kicks off, look for Thomas to wind up seriously frustrated and irritated with Hope. According to B&B spoilers, Hope will be unable to stop talking about Douglas during their time together. Of course, Thomas will want to forget about Douglas for a while and just focus on themselves and their marriage, and he won’t appreciate Hope going on and on about his son instead.
What Thomas really wants is to consummate their marriage and be intimate with his wife, but Hope will be unable to get her mind off of Douglas. Plus, she might outright reject Thomas’ advances, since she’s just not ready for physical intimacy with him. This will anger Thomas, and he’ll have a tough time not expressing his frustration.

Ongoing B&B spoilers indicate that Thomas will deal with his frustration by turning to his old friend Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero), who is the friend whom Thomas purchased the drugs that he secretly slipped to Liam to get him to sleep with Steffy. It looks like Thomas may be going down that path again – could he be planning to drug Hope to get her to comply with his advances?

Hope and Liam wasn’t quietly discussing anything. They were standing right in front of Douglas and he was paying attention to everything they said. So glad they get their child back so they can get off my screen for a while. I even miss $Bill and that’s saying a lot.
