The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) continues to suffer from what appears to be a mental breakdown. His repetitive thoughts about his deceased daughter, Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), persist. That seeming state of mind is increasingly causing him to veer over the edge of sanity.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who continues to battle stability issues herself, is soon set to return to Genoa City, Wisconsin. As viewers recall, it was her surprise presence at Delia’s grave site that prodded Billy’s mind and served to greenlight his revived revenge.
Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) stunning return from the dead sliced emotional scabs that exist over the hearts of Delia’s parents. Yes, scabs, not scars, as the wounds of the horrific car accident that took Delia’s life nearly six years ago have obviously never healed.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Is Billy Abbott Misinterpreting Delia’s Call?
Hendrickson’s return to the cast is always welcomed, as she is a terrific actor whose work within the immediate aftermath of the Delia Dies arc is unquestionably the greatest of her multiple tenures. Chloe’s return to town in the spring restarted the blood feud between Delia’s mother and the man who still posts as being the young lady’s accidental killer.
Alternatively, it could be possible that Y&R is going old school Dark Shadows on the audience, complete with actual ghostly hauntings. The idea that the late Delia is urging her father to take care of Adam doesn’t seem to go along with what her soul urged him to do in the past. However, it could be that Billy is misinterpreting Delia’s call.
Assuming that Collinsport, Maine, isn’t being written into GC, then Adam’s conversation with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) at the Chancellor mansion revealed a logical conclusion about what was written underneath the wallpaper. As far as the placement of Delia’s old doll at various places, Billy is the most likely person responsible for that.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Unknowingly Committing The Other Acts
A key dialogue clue to this mystery seems to have been offered when Billy spoke about having driven to the Chancellor mansion while asleep. Since he did that it also stands to soapy reason that Billy is unknowingly committing the other supposedly otherworldly acts.

So, if Y&R is presenting a traditional storyline, then Billy is haunting himself. He’s reached out to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and a therapist. So, Billy is using his free will to resist what’s happening inside his mind. But there are times when prescribed medication and hospitalization is necessary to help heal those good souls who live on this earth.
