DOOL News – Dire Situation
Another fan wrote, “Helping others is what it’s all about. Thank you for instilling these values in your children when the world around them seems to have forgotten the importance of empathy and compassion.”
As far as the situation in The Bahamas right now, the people of both the Abacos and Grand Bahamas Island are in desperate need of help after Hurricane Dorian ripped through the islands as a Category 5 storm.. Reports indicate that at least 45 people are dead, hundreds are missing and about 70,000 people are homeless. That number is expected to rise significantly in the next several weeks. If that weren’t enough, there’s also no power or running water. Fortunately, aid is arriving slowly on the island of Grand Bahama.

Days Of Our Lives News – Desperate Need For Help
Additional reports also say that hundreds of other residents desperate to escape the devastation left by Dorian lined up at airports and ports hoping for a way off the hardest-hit islands. On Abaco Island, some people spent days at the Treasure Cay airport waiting to get a flight to either Miami, Florida, nearby Nassau or another island of The Bahamas.
While the conditions right now are unlivable, many people of The Bahamas say that they will work hard to rebuild what they lost in the storm. Right now the number one priority is rescuing and evacuating the living.
