Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is back to his old self on The Bold and the Beautiful. His hospital stay and stern conversations while in it didn’t serve to shake the fog that’s existed around him for months.
The mental health issues that he’s obviously dealing with are serious. The situation isn’t helped by his father merely hoping everything works out. Speaking with Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) doesn’t count as official therapy because she’s his mother. And, why can’t Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) see that Thomas is also likely in need of prescribed medication?
There was a hopeful breakthrough that happened before his cliff fall when Thomas was speaking from the heart to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). But that seems to have been a momentary clearing, leaving fans wondering what Thomas will do next?
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Holds Brooke Forrester Responsible
Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) name was directly referenced by Thomas when he returned to her house. He asked his dad if Brooke was still banning his presence and even belittled his father by implying that Ridge had to bow to her wishes.

To his credit, Ridge did back Brooke’s stance. He told Thomas that his actions pushed pain into many people’s lives.
Thomas holds Brooke responsible for breaking up his family many soapy years ago. That grudge, combined with her push of him at the top of the cliff clearly establishes some type of revenge scenario.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Douglas Forrester Remains In Danger
It was sad to see Thomas telling Douglas that he’d ratted him out. The scene played as though one five-year-old boy (meaning Thomas) was talking to another, with that actually being Samiri’s character’s age.
In addition to his hard feelings about Brooke, Thomas blames Douglas for causing the end of ‘Thope’. That is yet another blaring red signal which underscores the need for Thomas to be under supervised medical care.
Might he take Douglas away, believing that he’s teaching him and everyone else a lesson? If not that, then maybe further psychological pressure will be applied when others aren’t watching, as has been true many times to-date.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Is Still Detested
Instead of being a man and acknowledging that Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle) simply loves Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Thomas perceives Clifton’s character as an enemy, when he’s not.
This ongoing issue points to a potential revisiting of the ‘Lope’ conflict. Thomas also isn’t above using Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) as some type of pawn in his next twisted game.
