Viewers may recall that Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) has gone with Phil on a holiday so she could secretly make the arrangements for the Portuguese villa that Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) demanded from her. When she returns, Sharon will no longer take any more of Mel’s blackmail.
Spoilers tease she’ll stand up to Mel, even though she’s holding her past affair with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) against her. Fans of the show know that she was left devastated when Phil did everything he can to make her son’s burial impossible. This caused her to come up with a revenge plan that will eventually lead to her exit.

EastEnders Spoilers – Outhwaite Returned To Show After A 16 Year Absence
Outhwaite joined the show joined “EastEnders” back in 1998 and left in 2002. After 16 years since she was last seen on the soap, the actress returned to the sudser.
However, she revealed that her mom tried to talk her out from reprising her role. She explained that Executive consultant John Yorke asked if she would like to come back. She thought it was a great idea but her mother didn’t want her to go back.
She believed that her mom just wanted to protect her career, which she’s worked so hard to build since she left the sudser. “But I’m a single mum with bills to pay, and I felt Mel had more to give and viewers do seem to like her,” she explained. So, she agreed to return. It felt like going home but she also knew that her return won’t last forever.

Aside from the rising tension between Sharon and Mel, other exciting and shocking events are bound to happen during the week of October 21.
Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) returns to work at the salon but gets shocked later when Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) announces their pregnancy. Meanwhile, Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Kush Kazemi (Davood Mahood) come up with a revenge plan against Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).
