Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) won’t be in prison much longer, but will she go free or be taken out in a body bag? Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has been known to perform miracles in the courtroom, and this will probably be no exception. The facts of the case are what they always have been. Sam shot Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLoughlin) in the back with a flare gun. Shiloh then fell overboard and drowned. But Sam was doing this to save Jason’s life, as Shiloh was about to strike a killing blow to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

General Hospital Spoilers – This was not an act of pre-meditation

Despite the falsified evidence to the contrary, Sam’s actions were not pre-meditated. Sam wouldn’t have even been on the boat if not for a phone call from Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab). Dev was actually calling Jason, but Sam and Jason switched phones. Dev was on the Haunted Star to run away, and ran into Shiloh. He was Jason for help, not Sam. It was purely by chance that Sam ended up on that boat and Diane should be able to prove that fairly easily. All of the other evidence in the case is either heresy or circumstantial.

GH Spoilers – But Sam McCall could be in big trouble

There really is no question about whether Diane will get Sam free, but more a matter if Sam will survive for much longer as Cassandra Pierce’s cell mate. Cassandra is dangerous on a good day and prison has not softened her. She apparently put the eye out of her last cellmate and she’s already been taunting Sam and pulled a knife on her. One wrong move and Sam could end up severely injured or ever dead.

General Hospital Spoilers – The one thing in Sam’s favor

The only thing in Sam’s favor is that Cassandra is apparently working with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Nikolas couldn’t like it if Cassandra harmed his cousin. This may be one time where Sam’s Cassadine blood will work in her favor. So although Cassandra may want nothing more that to end Sam’s life, she may not want to risk Nikolas’ wrath. On the other hand, Nikolas has seemingly let Cassandra rot in prison, so this could possible go either way?

GH Spoilers – What do you think?

How long will it take before Sam is released from prison? Will Cassandra hurt her before that can happen or will their connection with Nikolas save Sam?
