B&B Spoilers – Empty Nest Syndrome
Being a parent is a difficult job no matter who you are. While it definitely has its challenges, it also reaps great rewards. Having a grown child move out on their own or enroll in college should be an exciting time. It means we’ve raised independent people who plan on making their own way in the world.
However, it also reminds us that we are getting older. Suddenly, we feel alone in a quiet, empty house. There are no messes to clean up, the laundry has stopped looking like Mt. Everest and we get to talk normally instead of constantly using our “mom said so” voice. There are several reasons why some go through Empty Nest Syndrome and everyone is different.

Bold & The Beautiful Spoilers – 30-Year Career as a Mom
However, one star of The Bold and the Beautiful actress doesn’t anticipate being one of them. Don’t misunderstand Rena’s words — she understands and appreciates why it’s emotional when the kids are out on their own.
At the same time, she has also been a mother and stepmom for nearly 30 years, so she is looking forward to just being Rena again. The Bold and the Beautiful star discussed the future during an interview with CBS Soaps in Depth.
“I’m really looking forward to the day that I get to be ‘Rena Sofer’ again and make decisions based on me, not based on where I have to get my kid that day and what time classes start and what tests or play dates they have… That’s why you have kids… to raise them to be incredible people and go out into the world and do amazing things.”
