Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) believes she killed Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Her belief is understandable considering the soapy circumstances.
Pushing Thomas off, after he tried to gain a kiss from her on a landing in the storage room at Forrester Creations, was justified. Thomas hasn’t been able to take no for an answer.
However, Hope’s reaction occurred while both parties were standing above a vat of hydrofluoric acid. Recall from a retro science class, any quick search, or hearing Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s (Steffy Forrester) dialogue informed viewers that chemical can quickly eat a person alive, which is what’s being implied by B&B’s open-ended storyline.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Taking Yet Another Plunge
Viewers took notice that B&B presented the results of Thomas’ workout regimen in recent months. Those purposeful shots were meant to let viewers know that Atkinson’s character was in tip-top shape and were similar to when Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) was shown in her swim suit just prior to the kidney donation. In this instance, Thomas’ toughness was, or will again be, provided as evidence as to how he managed to survive two falls that would have at least badly injured most other people.
Foreshadowing is a common technique that builds tension, which is why strong kudos needs to be offered to this show’s writing staff. Yes, the fall Thomas took from the cliff was merely the dress rehearsal for his plunge into the vat this fall.
B&B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Primed To Panic
Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) number one priority has been Thomas, rather than his wife. That would be okay if Thomas wasn’t an adult. But he’s never matured due to existing mental health issues that Ridge continues to greatly underplay.
The hope (pun intended) had been for Thomas to live with him at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) home. Together, Ridge and Eric, along with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), would help to care for Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and look out for Thomas.
Realizing that Thomas is missing will send Ridge into another panicked state. Then, when he learns what Hope did, he’ll go wild.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Jail Time Can’t Be Ruled Out For Hope Logan
Hope believes she’s a criminal. Thomas, assuming he didn’t dissolve, knows that isn’t true. The accident that caused his second, incredible fall, wasn’t premeditated, as Brooke Logan Forester (Katherine Kelly Lang) tried to tell her daughter.
Ridge will want justice and if Thomas lives and does as well, then Hope will face legal jeopardy. But even if Thomas has miraculously survived another fall and doesn’t claim Hope tried to kill him, the custody papers that were signed just prior to the latest drama will prove contentious.
Was Thomas’ mentally fit to make a judgment about Hope helping to care for his son? That type of ironic question could be proposed if Brooke continues to push (another pun) the mental health question.
