General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there will be five key takeaways for fans to watch for in this week’s General Hospital, from Monday, December 16 through Friday, December 20. Ava Jerome (Maura West) holds an art auction in her gallery, and has had her intern, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) handle everything from the guest list to the refreshments! Ava is pleased that everybody who is anybody in Port Charles is at the auction and the room is filled nearly to capacity.

Included in the auction is Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) portrait, having been removed from its frame and put on display. On the guest list especially for this portrait’s auction are Jasper “Jax” Jacks, (Ingo Rademacher), Laura Collins, (Genie Francis) Curtis Ashford, (Donnell Turner) who comes with Laura, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

The portrait will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, fair and square. Of course, what they are really after is the codicil to Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) will; which, if it is a separate document and not encoded into the painting in the clues J. Garrin painted into the portrait, it is no longer with the portrait! Jax is in for a surprise, Laura will be surprised also, while Nina learns the truth, Valentin will be delighted, while Ava will be unconcerned.

GH Spoilers– Franco Baldwin Wakes Up

Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will finally wake up after Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) performed, not uninterrupted, the memory transfer reversal procedure where he hopes that by removing Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) transferred memories and personality, Franco’s will be left.

Andre is hoping that his theory of Franco’s memories and personality being merely overlaid by Drew’s is correct, and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) waits with anticipation for him to wake up. However, Andre cautions her and her son, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) that Franco, as Drew, signed a DNR before he went under. However, by Thursday, Franco will wake up and apparently he will be himself as he is devastated to learn that the real Drew is presumed dead. Liz will be understanding.

General Hospital Spoilers–Peter August Starts Feeling The Heat

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has been feeling some heat all along ever since Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) blackmailed him, and he made some terrible mistakes in judgment that caused the death of Drew, among other things. However, he will now start feeling the heat from his own mother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) shared his suspicions about Peter with her last week on GH.

Anna will take notice as she talks to Peter and he becomes defensive and asks if she thinks he’s lying to her, and Peter will be anxious and nervous as he wonders what will happen next. Anna will review her notes, and while Peter’s girlfriend, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) shares her joy about their moving in together, she will help Peter who becomes increasingly fearful that his criminal deeds will be uncovered.

GH Spoilers– Ava Jerome And Nina Reeves Work Their Plan

Ava and Nina continue to work their plan to take down “those lying Cassadine men” this week. Ava will lay in wait, probably for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), while Nina will corner her own aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) while working her plan to take Valentin down.

The art auction and the auction of Helena Cassadine’s portrait was part of their plan, as was removing the frame and probably the codicil, separating it from the portrait itself as Ava and Nina may be sending the Cassadine men on a wild goose chase for the codicil that Helena herself could not have planned better!

General Hospital Spoilers– Corinthos Collisions

There will be plenty of drama in the Corinthos family this week as well, as Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) fail to see eye to eye on possibly several issues. One is Sonny’s plan to take his rapidly deteriorating father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) to Sweden, to enroll him in an experimental Alzheimer’s treatment study that Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) had told Sonny and Carly about while he was in town, and wrote a recommendation.

However, Griffin only looked at Mike’s charts, he didn’t actually interact with him while he was in town so he could not see up close and personal what shape Mike is really in. They will also likely continue to argue about Carly keeping secrets from Sonny about Jax’s former houseguest, Nikolas.

Meanwhile, another Corinthos, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will do his best at continuing to care for his godson Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theodore Olson) who he still has no idea is really his son with Nelle Benson, (Chloe Lanier) Jonah Corinthos!

That’s all for this week’s Five Key Takeaways from GH; stay tuned to the show and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!
