General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that everyone from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may soon be urging Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to jump into a marriage of convenience.
GH fans know that recently the despicable Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) finished her supervised visit of her biological son, Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson) at the Quartermaine mansion and left. Just after her departure, everyone went nuts!
There is no way that Nelle could ever be allowed to gain custody of that poor child! Of course, all the options were laid out on the table and Michael crushed every single one as he reminded Sasha and Chase about the criteria given by the Corinthos family lawyer, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).
General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos And Sasha Gilmores Brief Planned Marriage
Unfortunately for Michael and Sasha’s relationship and briefly planned marriage, Sasha had too much of a checkered past. Michael didn’t really know anyone else who could marry him on short notice. Then, like a gift from heaven, Willow came knocking on the door. (Of course.)
Many GH fans may agree that this seems a bit too contrived. After all, why does anyone suppose that Willow will say yes to the proposition of hooking up with Michael at a wedding that’s marriage on paper only? Just because Willow cannot stand Nelle it doesn’t mean that she’d be willing to dive headlong into a situation where there was no guarantee her partner would ever love her! (What normal, sane woman would?)
However, the real kicker here is the issue of Chase. What regular, red-blooded American male would be okay with his girlfriend, whom he claims to love dearly, just up and marrying his good friend? Most GH viewers don’t know anybody like that in real life. Even if the marriage was “for a good cause” it’s a stretch. Of course, there really are marriages that begin out of convenience. There really are loveless arrangements. (Hey, that’s where the notion of sugar daddies and gold diggers comes from after all.)
Many viewers, however, might agree that Willow doesn’t seem that sort. In the same way, Chase absolutely seems like the kind of guy who holds on to a good thing when he sees it. He’s been uber verbal about the fact that he loves Willow. If he doesn’t see a marriage to Michael as something that’s best for Willow’s mental or emotional wellbeing, GH viewers have got to be saying to themselves that he’s going to fight tooth and nail against this whole crazy idea!
GH Spoilers – Michael Corinthos and Willow Tait Should Be A Couple?
Sure, there are people who think Michael and Willow ought to be together. Of course, there are those who suggest that Wiley could be the glue that brings them together and who causes love to blossom. These same individuals may argue that the groundwork has even been laid for a relationship between Chase and Sasha. In that case, who cares if Willow ditches Chase for Michael? No one gets hurt!

General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Desperation
On the other hand, it’s just as likely that Michael’s desperation to marry someone, anyone who seems like an angel just could end up causing a battle between him and his friend. GH fans might agree that when it comes to love, passions run hot. People have been killed over a loss of love.
That’s not to say that Chase might descend to the level of a jilted lover, but one never knows how one might behave in a situation like this until he or she is faced with it in reality. Even if Chase chooses to walk away, any respect he ever had for Willow (or Michael) will likely be gone forever
The awful questions now are whether Chase and Willow will stay the course. Or, will Willow risk losing a man who loves her out of a misguided belief that a marriage of convenience could benefit Wiley?
