General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will see a softer side to Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) – could Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have some competition in upcoming General Hospital episodes?
General Hospital Fans Have Seen Chemistry From The Start
Some General Hospital fans have seen some strong chemistry between Carly and Brando from the start, especially in his heroic rescue of Carly when the Corinthos coffee warehouse was under attack by Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) henchmen, and then when Brando took a bullet, it was Carly who went into hero mode, pulling him to safety and making sure he got to General Hospital for treatment. But when a man can be both tough and tender, that is a rare combination that many women cannot resist. Brando’s softer side may not come out in a romantic way towards Carly, but by seeing it, she may still be drawn towards him.
It may be something as simple as witnessing Brando picking up a crying Donna Corinthos (Emma and Ella Hulen) to comfort her that touches Carly in a deep way! General Hospital viewers will recall from a few episodes ago that Brando doesn’t consider himself a hero, when he, Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were in the garage they gave him to run, and that he had just reacted from having been in combat – but then, heroes come in different types; to a mother, a man picking up a frantically crying baby to soothe her might be just as much a hero as one who shoots his enemies and takes them down!

Could Brando Corbin Tempt Carly Corinthos Away From Sonny Corinthos?
The question some fans are asking is, could Brando tempt Carly away from Sonny? The answer to that question all depends on Sonny. While Carly realizes that Sonny is fighting an enemy, and it wasn’t him who started the mob war, longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that several years ago, when Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) was still alive, Carly had demanded that Sonny quit the mob because she didn’t want her children in danger. Years ago she had sent Morgan to boarding school for that very reason, having seen all the times that her oldest son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had been endangered by the mob and by Sonny’s business.
Sonny has been drawn into the turf war with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) on the defensive – he didn’t start it. He has no choice but to retaliate and fight back, and whether Sonny still has a secret business that is mob related, it certainly isn’t drugs, and Cyrus is a drug lord. Now, Carly has a teenager, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as well as Brando’s “son”, Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) who had a bullet put in his backpack by no one knows who, and a toddler and a baby! If Brando, who doesn’t want to be involved in Sonny’s mob business decides to stay in Port Charles and provides safety and security, and the two become close, and maybe close romantically, Carly may give into that temptation!
