Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kate Mansi’s Wedding Heartache – Sends Message To Other Brides Impacted By Covid-19

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some news to pass on about a popular DOOL star. Kate Mansi, who portrays Abigail DiMera on the NBC soap, recently shared with her social media followers that she and her fiancé Blake Levin had to postpone their wedding, which was originally scheduled for March 29, 2020.

However, Kate and Blake’s postponement didn’t occur due to the COVID-19 situation that’s currently gripping the world. As Kate explained in a recent Instagram post, she and Blake postponed their wedding some time ago due to another issue that arose. But Kate empathizes with the countless couples who are having to postpone their weddings due to COVID-19.

In her Instagram post, Kate wrote: “3.29.20 – for a long time this date was supposed to look very different for us. Quickly after we got engaged this year, we planned our dream snowy wedding in Banff, Canada. It was shocking how easily and quickly everything all came together – I kept saying it was the most bizarre wedding planning experience bc it felt like all green lights for our Canada wedding!”

Kate continued: “I have several wedding items & thank you gifts for family with this date monogrammed on them. HOWEVER…Mid-planning, we had to pivot due to some unforeseen issues with immigration for some key members of our wedding party. At the time I was devastated & couldn’t imagine another scenario for our special day.”

Kate went on: “Yet, here we are today with immense gratitude that we had to pivot earlier in the year & are not among the countless couples shifting their wedding plans due to COVID. My heart aches for you brides. But if it’s any consolation, pivoting was the best thing that happened to our wedding plan.”

Kate concluded by saying: “We are now standing where we’ll be married this summer, with a new plan that was beyond our wildest dreams thanks to @clothandflameweddings. It might not be our snowy wedding day today, but it’s a very loving day nonetheless. Hang in there brides!”

Kate’s followers have responded with well-wishes to her post, with one follower saying: “Such a positive spin!” And another follower commented: “Sweet lady!
