Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will continue to struggle with her pain over losing her baby, Rachel Isabella Black (Josephine and Rosalind May) in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!
Kristen DiMera Is The Last One To Know Rachel Isabella Black Was Switched With Mackenzie Horton In The Hospital Nursery
Kristen is the last to know that her baby didn’t really die and had been switched in the hospital nursery with Mackenzie Horton (Josephine and Rosalind May) and that it was really Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) baby who had died that terrible night. This is likely for her own mental health and protection as well as to make sure she doesn’t retaliate against anyone in the way she used to do. Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Kristen literally lost her mind when she was told that her baby didn’t make it, and accidentally pushed Nurse Haley Chen (Thia Megia) to her death, down a flight of stairs when she didn’t realize Haley was at the top of a flight of stairs when she pushed her out of her way. Kristen then disappeared for several months, winding up in a convent in Italy, where coincidentally, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) turned up as well, and the two became close friends as they studied to enter the ministry as nuns. JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) had slipped back into the world of drug abuse, unable to handle his grief over Haley and Kristen would have been killed by him outside the convent had Lani not been able to talk him down.
Kristen is back in Salem and she and her baby’s father Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) had re-bonded over grief for their baby girl, but she still dreams about the baby calling to her and she feels a connection to Mackenzie she cannot understand, but will soon be revealed when Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) tell Brady soon, and Brady will be the one to break the news to Kristen that Rachel is alive and Mackenzie is in Rachel’s grave. But for now, the more she is thrown into the baby’s path, with Brady occasionally caring for the baby on the spur of the moment, and not being allowed to hold her, the more pain she will feel! She has volunteered to hold babies in the nursery at Salem University Hospital, and that could be a good thing, but holding other babies only continues to remind her that she lost her own – at least as far as she knows so far!

Kristen DIMera May Not Be Easily Found When Brady Black Does Go To Tell Her The Good News
Kristen may not be easily found when Brady does go to tell her the good news – good for him and Kristen at least. She may be struggling with her pain over her lost and presumed dead baby but Brady will know right where to look for her – at “Rachel’s” grave. Kristen may not even be able to accept at first that Brady is telling her the truth – until she actually looks up and sees Brady has the baby in his arms – and shows her the birthmark and finally lets her hold her!
This promises to be a bittersweet episode, as Sarah, Eric, Nicole and possibly Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) bring the baby to Brady and the transfer actually takes place. Nicole and Eric will already have the DNA proof to prove it to Sarah and Brady, and of course Xander will have had a lot of explaining to do. Once Kristen is over the shock, she should be overjoyed at her reunion with the baby that she always felt drawn to, although she didn’t understand why, and now it all makes sense!
