The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Won’t Last Long On Top – Victor’s Got A Plan To Pull Him Down
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) warning to his duplicitous son feels like a foreshadowing. Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) hold on the Chief Executive Officer’s chair at Newman Enterprises will be guaranteed through a contract that’s merely an illusion.
Whether the position Adam basically usurped will be available to him for long is a good question to consider. As Y&R fans know, Adam’s admission to Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) about what happened in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the recent past indicates that justice is in order.
The man that Adam admitted to killing in self-defense has a widow. That as yet unseen character, who apparently doesn’t know her husband is deceased, would seem prime to aid Victor’s cause. Along with whoever that lady is, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) was just co-opted by Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Vickie Newman’s Loyalty Is Valuable
Adam derided his sister’s loyalty to their father as some form of disqualifier for the job he forced her out of. That flawed conclusion also leaves Adam blind to threat that Vickie poses.
Alyssa was Adam’s childhood friend in Kansas. That made her vulnerable to him taking advantage of her professional skills, which he did.
Vickie’s tell to Alyssa, regarding Adam’s true intentions in having her gather facts and write a story, with an included non-disclosure clause, is important. Acquiring the allegiance of A.J. Montalvo’s (a part not known to be cast) daughter means that Adam’s enemy list is expanding.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Las Vegas Act To Be Exposed
Devoted fans felt that the recent return to Vegas meant something more than Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gaining leverage. A connection can now be made to the recent reveal of what Victor is believed to be responsible for in Kansas.

Adam’s actions can serve as a neutralizer if Victor was acting in self-defense when battling Alyssa’s father. But viewers suspect that Victor is withholding an ace regarding the supposed crime. He could easily be shielding the actions of Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman), who the Moustache specifically referenced when he met with Adam in the CEO’s office.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman’s Sense Of Calm Telling
Adam told Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that Victor’s defeatist demeanor didn’t make sense. But Grossman’s character didn’t chew on it, choosing to gorge on assumed full victory.
As Victor told Hope’s son, he hasn’t earned his place at Newman. Instead, Adam used underhanded means to steal from his own family. Newman’s current CEO swatted that comment off as hypocrisy, stating that Victor’s many terrible deeds allowed the company to be built.
Victor appears resolved to allow this situation to play out, rather than seeing it as an actual defeat. His attempt to reassure Vickie that all was not lost supports the theory that Victor is allowing Adam to believe he’s won. Experience verses overconfidence seems to be the contrast within this developing Y&R storyline.
