General Hospital spoilers tease that while all heck is breaking loose in Port Charles, one suspicious peep is conspicuously absent. Where in the world is that lovable loon, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs)?
Gladys has been at the epicenter of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) explosively unpredictable life lately, and while he continues to agitate over things going wrong and which he can’t control, the person who wrought some of the angst is MIA.
Is Gladys up to something again, something that will cause Sonny to roll those gorgeous brown eyes heavenward?
General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Has Not Been Seen For A Bit And That Is Cause For Concern
Gladys Corbin originally popped up in Port Charles last summer. The Coffee King needed a favor and how could she refuse?
What took place was a meeting between Sonny and Gladys, a relative distant enough to not be too much trouble, and close enough to ask a favor of. Maybe Sonny should have gone further down the family tree—Gladys has given him heartache, indigestion and a non-dead son who is now another person Sonny must track and protect!
GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Asked Gladys Corbin To Be A Pretend Grandmother To Dev Cerci A Complete Stranger
Gladys agreed (for a fee) to pretend to be Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) grandma. This was necessary in order to keep Sonny’s cover story about the kid legit. Dev helped Sonny look for his son Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in Turkey and when he followed Sonny to Port Chuck Sonny felt beholden to the young man. He concocted a ruse to keep him in the country legally—an illegal ruse, but still!
Over time Gladys was woven into a couple of storylines, and we got to see how complicated the character is, and ultimately a warm-hearted, well-intentioned wild card.
General Hospital spoilers – Gladys Corbin May Come Out Of The Woodwork With A Major Surprise No One Saw Coming
Right now Glady’s absence is a bit puzzling. The son she said was dead is very much alive and in action in town–make that getting a lot of action, too!

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) shocked everyone by appearing in hero mode, saving Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) after a mob war erupted and she was caught in the cross-fire.
Brando now has an auto repair garage, courtesy of Sonny, and a one-nighter with Molly Lansing (Hayley Pullos) under his belt. He isn’t going anywhere any time soon, so why isn’t Gladys by his side interfering and meddling?
Could she be cultivating a salacious relationship with Sonny’s enemy, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Korber)?
