General Hospital and Days of Our Lives alum Tyler Christopher recently gave fans an update. While the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing, he took the time to visit his mom’s grave. He mentioned that his childhood home was in the background and confirmed that he grew up with a cemetery on his family’s property. He also talked about social distancing.

GH and DOOL alum Tyler Christopher is well-known to soap fans. He portrayed Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital. Then, he moved to Days of Our Lives to introduce a new character, Stefan DiMera until Brandon Barash took over the role.
On Instagram, the actor posted a photo in which he was kneeling next to a headstone. He wrote that he was visiting his mother’s grave. As everyone knows, the rest of the world is currently social distancing, quarantined, and focused on the coronavirus pandemic.

The General Hospital alum explained that the house in the background is the home where he grew up. He already anticipated that fans would ask if he spent his childhood with a cemetery on the property. He confirmed that assumption, which is definitely quite interesting!

Christopher wrote about going to the gravesite that it is the one place in the world where he doesn’t have to be concerned about social distancing. He’s right about that. He added the hashtag #heal to his post, which indicates that he is going through a healing process, perhaps even a transformation.

In the photo, Christopher had a serious look on his face. It was heartbreaking because the emotions on his face and in his eyes remind fans of how short life is. It is clear that losing his mom was painful. Let’s hope that the actor gets the healing that he is looking for.

I hope that Tyler can get back to work at some point. He has had a difficult time. I am not sure if he could come back to GH or DOOL unless he got a new part.
