New Documentary Claims Princess Diana Tried to Kill Herself 4 Times – Prince William & Harry Outraged!
A provocative documentary which reportedly claims that Princess Diana tried to kill herself four times is set to be made and some are wondering how her sons, Princes William and Harry, will react.
According to The Sun, a four-part documentary will explore the mental health and wellbeing of the late royal in particular her painful childhood, eating disorders and unpleasant marriage to Prince Charles.
Will William and Harry be very upset and angry about a new documentary on their mother’s life?
The Princess of Wales died in 1997 and the documentary is said to use unseen footage from Diana’s speeches, and interviews with those close to her. The aim is to illuminate her inner state of mind shortly before her 1992 separation from Charles.
The project is apparently planned for Netflix but has not yet been commissioned. The series would be developed by the television company DSP, which created 127 Hours and ITV’s Torvill And Dean.
A new series on Diana’s life may upset those closest to her
A source told The Sun that the royal family and the Spencer family likely will refuse to participate in the project.
It’s believed that the project could be especially upsetting for Harry, with the source saying, “William and Harry will be very upset and angry. It’s particularly distressing for Harry because he’s been working with Netflix.”
“At a time when the royals have been dealt a blow with Harry and Meghan leaving, the timing is not good.”
Harry is a Thomas The Tank Engine fan
Harry worked with Netflix to promote a Thomas The Tank Engine 75th anniversary special and he is featured in a video extolling the virtues of the children’s series. Proceeds from the special are being donated to Harry’s Travalyst project which focuses on environmental and sustainability issues.

It is also believed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in talks with Netflix regarding future projects.
Diana’s loved ones may not be able to block the documentary’s premiere
If the family is upset, there could be little recourse as a spokeswoman for Endemol Shine, the parent company for DSP, told The Sun, “This is a not a commissioned show and everything within the treatment is already in the public domain.”
Charles and Diana were married in a lavish ceremony in 1981 at St. Paul’s Cathedral in front of thousands. A decade later, then Prime Minister John Major announced that the couple were separating. Their divorce was finalized in 1996 and in 1997 Diana died in a car crash in Paris. Prince Charles went on to marry Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005.
