Why Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Must Insist Publicly That They Actually Paid For Their Own House
Look up the phrase, “they doth protest too much,” and the couple with the cheesy grins staring back at you look exactly like Harry and Meghan. Because who goes tattling to the tabloids that they really, really, did spend all of their own pennies on their starter mansion, and didn’t ask his dad for the dough?
That’s what happens when you still ask for an allowance when you are married, with a baby and pushing 40. That’s what happens when you lie about not spilling inside secrets to your biographers and then they thank you publicly for giving them info. What happens is that no one believes you even when you protest way too much.
If anyone still believes the tripe that this couple is pushing, please call me I have a boatload of cheap land near San Onofre to unload. It even glows at night, no power needed!
Harry and Meghan have triumphantly moved, after flopping around in three countries without shame, into a starter manse of their own. The fact they need to trumpet that they were the ones who paid for it speaks volumes about their perceived lack of integrity, their perceived heaping helpings of hypocrisy, and their very real general unlikability.
Who Tells The World That They Actually Paid For Their Own House Like That’s A Miraculous Accomplishment?
And that is why there is a source telling Us Weekly, “Harry could’ve asked (Prince) Charles to contribute toward the cost of the house, but he chose not to.”
Never mind the fact that plenty of outlets are reporting otherwise. “Getting his dad financially involved would result in the royals having control over him. It would mean going backward.” For all intents and purposes, it is a common belief that Harry has never stopped accepting handouts from his dad, who is passing them along after taking the money from the UK taxpayers.
Did Harry And Meghan Put Their Money Where Their Mouth Is Or Did Prince Charles Contribute To Their Marital Home?
The chatty source continued on that the Markle’s, “paid out of their own pockets (and) have taken out a huge mortgage,” and Harry is, “loving being independent and sees it as an opportunity to grow.”
But wait, there’s more! “Harry and Meghan see it as an absolute bargain, it was an opportunity not to be missed.” Which is another example of the huge divide that exists between the Markle’s and the other 99% of the world: To them, a $14.65 million house is a bargain.

And in case we all aren’t convinced of the soundness of their financial acumen, the source insisted, “Unlike buying a car, it’s an investment. Meghan’s confident they’ll make a hefty profit if they ever decide to sell up. And on the upside, at least their security costs have been reduced. Their new home is gated and secure. They still have bodyguards but no longer need as many.”
You cannot make this stuff up. Stay tuned for the next installment of Moving on Up with the Markle’s.
