Days of Our Lives: Brandon BarashDays of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Brandon Barash, who plays Jake DiMera on Days of Our Lives, recently posted to his Instagram account that he had caught Covid-19 – and beat it! He’s okay!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Brandon Barash Displayed Good Humor In His Announcement

Brandon, who also played Stefan DiMera on Days of Our Lives and prior to that, mobster Johnny Zacchara on General Hospital, displayed good humor in his announcement. The Days of Our Lives leading man channeled the Dos Equis man when he posted that he doesn’t always have Covid-19, but when he does, he drinks Springbank 18! For the benefit of teetotalers who don’t know what that is, it’s a brand of eighteen year Scotch.

He also noted a succinct and four letter word to the coronavirus which we won’t quote here, but we are sure everyone will agree with Brandon’s opinion! Let’s go, Covid! To everyone else, he posted “stay healthy, my friends!” Robert Scott Wilson who plays Ben Weston commented that Brandon’s back and planned to see him that night; Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) commented a toast, “to your health” and Martha Madison (Belle Black Brady) was glad to hear he was feeling better! Even Richard Marx, the singer from the 1980s commented that while it was bad to the ninth degree that Brandon had caught it, at least his hair was still good!

DOOL Spoilers – A Previous Instagram Post May Hint When Brandon Barash Was Ill With Covid-19

A previous Instagram post may hint as to when Brandon actually was ill with Covid-19. He jokingly put up a post on September 14 that he had so much fun at the Met Gala that he had forgotten to post his arrival, but the photo was of him in a doctor’s office, masked up, and in a paper gown in front of an examining table!

Days of Our Lives viewers who follow him on Instagram may have wondered about that post, but he is well known to his family and friends to be quite the kidder! Given that his post from November 6 was confirming that he’s beat the virus and is presumably now testing negative for Covid, that doctor’s office photo could work right for the timeline. Even mild cases usually take at least six weeks to recover from, according to the latest medical information. Days of Our Lives viewers can be assured that Brandon is doing just fine now!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Little More Personal Information About Brandon Barash

Days of Our Lives fans who follow Brandon and also watched him when he was on General Hospital may already know this fast fact, but he has a daughter, Harper Barash with General Hospital actress Kirsten Storms. Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that Kirsten played Belle Black previous to when Martha Madison took on the role, but Brandon and Kirsten met when they were both on General Hospital.

Sadly, they split and both have moved on to other relationships but still remain friendly and share custody of Harper. Brandon has also tried his hand at primetime shows, notably playing Ernest Hemingway – a favorite author of his – in the series “Timeless” and a character named Scott Davis in “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” both in 2017. We’re glad Brandon has made a full recovery!
