Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Eli Grant Is Comatose And Could Die
Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Eli is comatose and he could die; he suffered a seizure caused by some post-operative damage to his brain and it’s a toss of the coin whether he’ll recover or not! Days of Our Lives viewers know that once Lani gets past the immediate emotional trauma she herself suffered upon finding Eli unconscious and barely clinging to life at the crime scene, she is going to be on a mission to find the perpetrator and take him down!
By that time there could be more evidence pointing to Coates, possibly even from his ex-girlfriend Beth Howard (Donielle Artese) who might woman up and tell what she knows! Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) is also on the hunt for the perpetrator, so it’s obvious he knows or suspects there’s a lot more to the story than a drug dealer takedown gone bad!
DOOL Spoilers – Eli Grant Tried To Tell His Wife And Mother Who Shot Him
Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that before he had the seizure and lapsed into a coma, Eli tried to tell his wife and his mother, Valerie Grant (Vanessa A. Williams) who shot him. Previously, he said “Ray” clearly when he came to momentarily but there was no one in the room to hear him – it’s too bad that no one thought to put a guard at his door, or the case could be almost solved! Lani and Valerie could not understand him when he tried to say the name, partially because they were talking themselves.
Depending upon how much damage was caused by the seizure, Eli may have total recall by the time he wakes up, but that could take a while, as Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) explained – Eli’s brain has to heal itself. Once the truth is found through the Salem PD’s investigations, Coates will be responsible for two crimes – Eli’s shooting and the murder of the drug dealer Frank (Michael Varde) – as Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, Coates framed the dead dealer for Eli’s shooting.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – The Level Of Lani Price-Grant’s Revenge Will Depend On The Level Of Damage
Days of Our Lives viewers can imagine that the level of Lani’s revenge will depend on the level of damage to Eli’s brain and if he even lives, for that matter –nothing is guaranteed. There are different scenarios here for Days of Our Lives viewers to consider;
Eli is not brain dead yet, but anything could happen – Coates could get nervous and sneak in and cut off Eli’s life support! Of course, that is all the more reason that a guard should be posted at Eli’s door, because Lani and Shawn both know Eli was investigating Coates, not a drug dealer! As long as Eli lives, Lani has hope, for where there is life there is always hope; but if Eli dies, Lani might lose it – and Coates will be the one who will have to fear for his life!
