The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has an intense history with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). That history seemed to be buried with Diane’s body, as this character was supposedly killed in 2011. What is this Dark Shadows?
But this is daytime, where the impossible is possible. With that being said, the months-long tease of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis reuniting can be reasonably questioned.
Since it is no longer unreasonable to suggest Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) self-defense actions did not kill Diane (as then played by Maura West in 2011), it is also not impossible to believe that the character Walters is again playing could reunite with Jack, possibly through forced means.

Beyond the fact that Diane is living is her knowledge of Allie Nguyen’s (Kelsey Wang) connection to him. Is Diane also Allie’s mother, with a twisted connection to the late Keemo Volien Abbott Nguyen (Philip Moon) revealed?
Again, how can any viewer insist that answer is no after learning Diane lives? One can not do so.
To have Jack learn about his oldest son’s death was a major reveal. To have Bergman’s character learn that Keemo had a daughter was a second eye-raiser. But it is fantastical to have Diane reveal herself as alive and then also link her to the Keemo storyline.
Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Working Her Way Back
Y&R split Phyllis and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with no real need to do so in the recent past. Soap fans are savvy, knowing that hard break meant one or both characters were being pushed in another romantic direction.
Jack’s admission to Phyllis last year, that she was the woman he loved more than any other, has been followed by Stafford’s character being open to a reconciliation attempt. Now, Diane is resurrected, which evokes an old-school conflict.
Devoted viewers know that Phyllis and Diane fought over Jack. Current developments telegraph to another battle in modern times.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Must Reconcile Past
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has lived for years believing his mother was taken from him. He blamed Nikki for that horror, with Mealor and Thomas Scott’s characters rarely appearing in the same scenes together.
Now, Kyle learns that his mother never died and kept that secret from him? What an outrage!
No matter Jack’s reaction to the coming stunner, Diane will again be a part of his life because she is Kyle’s mother. Phyllis has thankfully been positioned by Jack’s side as he will need an ally in what projects to be a series of fierce fights on Y&R.
