The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) mind is scrambled after the horror she endured. Seeing her husband shot dead by his birth mother and then, moments later, being shot by Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), who wanted to silence the only witness to her crime, proved too much.
B&B’s apparent plan to address the impending birth of Wood’s and her husband’s third child is now in view. It seems as though Steffy’s repressed memories mean that she may have a long recovery that involves more than just physical rehabilitation.
Viewers are being asked to suspend their disbelief to further a storyline that has Steffy unable to recall what Sheila did and to reverse time. Teasers indicate that Steffy’s mind will protect itself by taking a trip back in time.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Looking Ahead Through Spring and Summer
As of Easter weekend, Wood’s Instagram page showed no news of the anticipated birth. The actor announced in the recent past that she expected the baby to be born this spring.
B&B records on an advanced schedule. Scenes are developed into an episode that is broadcast approximately a month after they are digitally recorded.
If Wood has not left the cast yet, Steffy could be seen regularly into mid-May or slightly beyond. If the actor has been and or will continue recording advanced scenes, then Steffy’s recovery and whatever follows could be shown across various shows into June, when the summer starts.
B&B Spoilers – Why Memory Loss, Instead Of A Coma?
If TPTB have decided to keep Steffy’s memory blocked for an indefinite period, Wood’s character could remain an active part of the storyline for a while. Sheila is pleased with this unexpected result because Steffy can not identify her as the perpetrator of these terrible crimes.
But like the audience, Sheila is anxiously awaiting what the inevitable day when Steffy’s mind clears. She will flashback to the senses she experienced on that fateful day.
The cloudy images of Sheila and Finn. The sound of that bullet passing through the silencer and into John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) chest and his fall onto a garbage bag on the ground. The smell of that seedy alley behind the restaurant and the stench of Sheila.
No coma allows for the above to happen.

What would be more compelling, seeing Sheila arrested on the suspicion of murder and attempted murder in her hotel room after Steffy remembers what happened or seeing Wood’s character unconscious in her bed?

Yes, Wood has a beautiful appearance. But seeing Steffy in that sorry state is not interesting.
However, a different lane could be taken. Steffy recalls what happens, and Sheila kidnaps her widowed daughter-in-law. There would be no out for Brown’s character in that scenario that could be recorded in the next few weeks or after Wood returns from maternity leave, meaning those episodes would be seen later in the summer.
