The Young And The Restless: Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) now knows his mother is not dead. He can not wrap his mind around the seemingly impossible fact.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) feared how his son would respond to this incredible news. Kyle, like his father, was stunned that the impossible was true.

Bergman’s character knows Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) better than Kyle, who recalls her as a loving mom. Jack is upset because he knows who Diane was and who she likely will be again.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Abbott Coming To Help

Readers of this comprehensive soap site know Allison Lanier (Summer Newman Abbott) was hired. She is the recast who replaces Y&R stalwart, Hunter King (Summer).

Lanier will need to carve her own niche, as King was part of the cast, off and on, from 2012 through this year. King won back-to-back (2014 and 2015) Daytime Emmy Awards for her solid efforts.

Teasers indicate that Summer will soon be joining her husband in Genoa City, Wisconsin. He needs her support to deal with Diane’s reappearance and the implications it generates.

Y&R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Is Persuasive And Relentless

Diane has gotten herself into trouble on many occasions. She is brilliant and has also gotten herself out of many vexing situations. This conundrum of her own making represents Diane’s greatest challenge.

She retains her maternal bond with Kyle. His memories of the past are not false because she loved him completely.

Faking her murder will prove to be a forgivable, yet admittedly terrible, mistake. Viewers should anticipate Kyle eventually and conditionally accepting Diane back into his life. Harrison Locke Abbott’s (Kellen Enriquez) importance should help that happen.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Walks A Fine, Soapy Line

Jack did not want to color his son’s memory of his mother. That approach was wise for reasons of fairness and because she was no longer a threat.

Well, the threat is back in the flesh. The ruse to introduce Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) and Jack served its purpose. Digitally skip to the present, as Diane takes the second step in attempting to reestablish her tie to the adult son she and Jack have.

But Diane’s daytime revival means her classic angles could or will be employed again. So, the potential for Walter’s character to turn the scenario around, and drive a wedge between Jack and Kyle, can not be dismissed.
