Dancing With The Stars: Alan Bersten Gives Disney+ A Thumbs-Up
Dancing With The Stars, (DWTS) pro-dancer, Alan Bersten had some success on the ABC show. Now that the news came that it migrates to Disney+, he seems to think it’s a very good idea. In that respect, he joins the likes of Derek Hough who also enthused about it. However, right now, fans don’t know if they will actually see Alan on the streaming platform.
Dancing With The Stars – Alan Bersten & Derek Hough Like Disney+
In early May, Derek Hough seemed quite excited about moving the show from ABC to Disney+. While it seemed to shock him a bit when the news first emerged, he gave it a lot of thought. So, he concluded that the lack of commercials would mean more time watching the dancing. Also, he felt excited that the show moves with the times given new technology.
Dancing With The Stars fans were not thrilled with the move. In fact, some of them blamed Tyra Banks for ruining the whole thing. Notably, it’s not clear if she will also continue to host the show when it comes to the next season. It was renewed for two seasons, but beyond that, the future seems uncertain. Well, Alan Bersten isn’t letting that stop his own excitement.
Dancing With The Stars – Why Is Alan Bersten So Excited?
Alan Bersten spoke with Hello! and it turns out that he’s all for the new format of the show. He’s done quite well as a pro-dancer, and you might recall that he and Hannah Brown took the crown three years ago. The former So You Think You Can Dance star hadn’t taken home the Mirror Ball Trophy before that. But, he made it to the finals more than once.
Unlike Dancing With The Stars pro-dancer Derek, Alan seems more excited about a fairer voting system. Actually, a lot of fans complain about it. So, he noted, “our west coast fans will be able to vote for the first time when it actually matters.” So, he believes that folk will happy that it’s “more inclusive.”
Dancing With The Stars – Other Reasons For The Thumbs-Up
Dancing With The Stars pro, Alan Bersten also seems very excited about the number of folks who already subscribe to the streaming service. He said, “I don’t know much about numbers [on the streaming platform,] but they have surpassed 130 million subscribers in only two or three years!”

Time will tell if fans will see him perform on Disney+, but his enthusiasm might sway some people who complain about the migration.
