Peter ReckellDays of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal Ciara and Ben trying to live happily ever after with their brand-new baby Bo after the original Bo Brady himself seemingly came down from heaven and saved him from Satan.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Bo Brady’s Ghost Appears And Technology Took Over

When Peter Reckell was first contacted by Days of Our Lives producers to be the man who ended the show’s second-ever possession storyline, he was still living in New Zealand where his wife, Kelly Moneymaker, was earning another degree and working on climate documentaries. With COVID travel restrictions, he didn’t think he’d make it into the studio, so he used his own home studio to record Bo’s lines as a voice-over.

However, his family situation soon changed. After losing his parents while living in New Zealand while his father-in-law had health problems, Reckell, his wife, and 14-yr-old daughter Loden, moved back to the states, although they now live in the 50th state, Alaska. While he was still far from LA, he was not in the US and could fly to California and that’s exactly what he did.

DOOL Spoilers –  How A Voiceover Became The Real Deal

Reckell’s voiceover became Reckell’s presence on-screen as Ghost Bo and Victoria Konefal (Ciara), Robert Scott Wilson (Ben) and Stephen Nichols (Steve) were not even there when he filmed his appearance.

“They had actually shot the scenes with another actor, so Stephen and everybody played this scene with another actor…then it came about that I was going be on the same continent, so I justice came down and did the scenes,” Reckell explained in the June 14 issue of Soap Opera Digest. “They actually brought in an actress to play my daughter, but Ben and Steve were played by stage managers and then in editing, they put it all together. It was like doing a movie. I’ve heard it was a very cool thing and just a surprise.”

Of course, Reckell had not been back at the DAYS studio since 2016 when Hope had an emotional crisis and dreamed about the men in her life while spending time at the Horton cabin. That meant there were some jitters. “I was a bit nervous because when actors are out of the game for a while, there’s lots of things that can trip you up, but it was comfortable,” Reckell said. “The other thing that really impressed me is the energy on the show is just astounding.”
