General Hospital’s Kelly Thiebaud Celebrates Her Emmy The Morning After
General Hospital star Kelly Thiebaud was so shocked and thrilled to win her Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress on June 24 that she couldn’t even stop celebrating the next morning.

Taking to Instagram the morning after the Emmys, Thiebaud shared a photo of herself in bed with her new prize thanking everyone she could.
“It wasn’t a dream… So many people to thank. I did not win this award on my own. Thank you to everyone at @generalhospitalabc, @fvalentinigh , our amazing hair/makeup team and wardrobe department. Our incredibly hardworking crew,I love y’all so much,” Thiebaud wrote. “Thank you for showing up every day. Thank you to our wonderful directors! Our writers Chris and Dan and the whole writing team for giving me great storylines to play. All the incredibly talented actors I worked with last year, you elevated my acting and made me better. To my manager Mark Schumacher, who’s been with me from the beginning, thank you for believing in me. To our fans… thank you for being on this ride with me and supporting my character. I love entertaining y’all! And thank you to the academy for this honor. It’s a moment I will never forget. Thank you so much. “
It was a big year for Britt Westbourne as she learned she had the gene for Huntington’s Disease, something that is fatal and debilitating. Despite that, she fell for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and although they were not together as a couple when he allegedly died, Britt has been mourning him ever since as she re-evaluates her life.
