The Bold And The Beautiful: John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan)The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) accomplished nearly everything. He broke free from his birth mother’s hold, reunited with his in-laws, and embraced his son and stepdaughter.

Sharp writing put Finn in the same position the audience and cast were before the reveal that Novlan’s character was alive. The look on Finn’s face when he saw Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) walk through the doorway was priceless.

The above scene was made better by having Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) reacting in a starkly different way and being bothered by Li being alive.

Finn’s struggle to survive Sheila’s repeated sedative injections was reflective of his overall will to live. He was determined to restore his life with Steffy and their children. No one, including B&B’s greatest of all-time villain, was going to prevent that from happening.

Sheila’s backing down from Finn, agreeing to let him leave, was atypical. Fans of this character know that she rarely gave into anyone. But the audience was also anticipating what was delivered, meaning her latest escape.

Steffy is about to represent the fans, circa the point in the plot when Finn was assumed dead. Her world will be upended by what was considered impossible. Finn was not killed by Sheila, and their family will live on.
