General Hospital Spoilers reveal Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may have to give her brother some very upsetting news soon. Laura has remained in contact with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) throughout their time in Paris where an old friend of Valentin’s has been helping them. Of course, she too is in the employ of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) and has been thrown into the mix to purposely lead them astray. They’ll never suspect it as she takes them underground through the catacombs and straight to Lucy, but what happens next is something they never expected.

Renee Laveque (Maria Tornberg) has been working for Victor the whole time, and Valentin was none the wiser. Anna had her own suspicions about the woman, but she chalked them up to anxiety that she had to compete with this real-life representation of her beau’s past. Valentin, on the other hand, just thought Renee was interested in rekindling something with him, and he held off on telling her Anna was anything more than a fellow WSB agent so that she would continue to help them. Little did they know her help was going to come at a big cost — their freedom.

GH Spoilers – Hint Lucy Coe Is Alive, Not Dead

When Anna and Valentin spotted Lucy through an old iron gate about a mile underground, they were stunned that she was alive and they’d finally reached her. Just as they reached her, Renee revealed her plan as he made them drop to their knees at gunpoint while she phoned Victor. The sinister Cassadine’s plans quickly emerged as he made it clear he wanted Anna killed. It’s a good thing the veteran spy planned ahead and followed her instincts about Renee. She detonated a bomb on one of the water mains and the whole place began to flood, providing a distraction so that Anna and Valentin could take care of Renee and the two guards she called in. As Anna and Valentin escaped with Lucy, her one request was to call Marty right away but they assured her it was best if the world assumed they were all dead.
