General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Helps Liz Pick Of The Pieces Nikolas’ Drama Left Behind
General Hospital Spoilers hint Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is starting to have some serious doubts about her son, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). He seems bent on suing for custody of his child even though Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hasn’t exactly proven herself to be an unfit mother, even if she is a less-than-quality human being. It gives Laura pause that Nikolas jumped from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) to Esme to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and she’s not sure that his intentions in suing for custody are pure. Of course, she has every reason to be concerned about his reasons for wanting his son or daughter to himself. He hasn’t been the most selfless father thus far to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). When the truth comes out about what Nik has been planning, Laura will regret trusting her son as she helps Liz pick up the pieces of her shattered life.
General Hospital Spoilers — Laura Collins Was Delighted To Hear Liz Baldwin Snd Nik Cassadine Are Just Friends
When Liz told Laura she and Nik were back to being just friends, she couldn’t have been more thrilled — or is relieved the proper term? Laura doesn’t want Elizabeth and her good heart getting any further entangled in Nik’s life right now. He’s clearly made a mess of things and it warrants him cleaning that mess up on his own. Laura knows how codependent her son can be, and he’s always looking for a shortcut that doesn’t exist — at least not without a serious cost. Laura worries if Liz gets too close to Nik right now, he could take her down with him when push comes to shove.
GH Spoilers – Say Her Instincts Are Right
Laura’s instincts are right on point. She’s not paranoid; Nikolas cannot and should not be trusted. He’s up to no good, as usual, and Laura is so tired of him having to learn every lesson the hard way. Laura is already worried that Elizabeth is struggling with private matters that are wrapped up in Nikolas’ drama. When Laura asked Elizabeth whether Nikolas had imposed on her friendship in some way and conveyed that Elizabeth could change her mind at any time, it made Liz think twice about the chance to come clean with Laura. She could unburden herself, but doing so to the Mayor and Nikolas’ mother probably isn’t wise and wouldn’t leave any of them in a good position.
General Hospital Spoilers — Nik Cassadine’s Plan With Carolyn Webber Implodes
Elizabeth has no idea that the real reason her mother, Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby), is in town is because she was summoned by Nikolas. He thinks she can use the same memory suppression tactics on Esme that she used years ago on Elizabeth to help her forget what she did to Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara).

When he twists Carolyn’s arm and gets to work for him, it’ll eventually blow up in their faces — leaving Elizabeth not just in legal trouble but devastated that her mother hasn’t learned her lesson after all. Only Laura will be left to help Elizabeth pick up the pieces of her life and try to salvage what is left as the revelation that she kept Esme hostage has a disastrous ripple effect.
