The Young And The Restless: Is Fenmore Going To Be Back For Good?

The Young and the Restless spoilers, news, and updates tease Zach Tinker could return to the series after guesting in a special episode. Zach Tinker, who played Fenmore Baldwin in The Young and the Restless (Y&R), briefly returned to the series to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Tracey E. Bregman in the show. Bregman plays Lauren Fenmore, Tinker’s on-screen mother. Tinker got the role in 2018 after replacing Robbie Tucker and Max Ehrich as the character got older.

But as busy as he seems, he said he was happy to travel back to Genoa City to be reunited with his Y&R co-stars. He added that the cast and crew were wonderful and that he would still be interested in playing Fen anytime he gets an opportunity.

Tinker also said in an interview that he didn’t feel any pressure when he came back for one episode. “Since I was just coming back to do one episode, I didn’t have the pressure of doing a crazy storyline or performing a monologue,” he said. He felt like he had an excuse just to hang out (and get paid) with his Y&R family. Which is a win-win, to be honest.

Tinker’s Fenmore Baldwin was a drug addict in Y&R, but the episode makes it seem that he was doing much better. Fen also has a new boyfriend, Trey, played by Julian Larach. Fans seem to be surprised by the revelation, but his on-screen family wasn’t in shock. It seems like they knew about Fen’s preference to begin with.

The surprise is expected as there was no big moment for Fen to come out, which might be because the narrative was only developed off-screen.

Tinker expressed that even though he only went back for a short reunion and a special episode, he said that if the show still wants him, he would like to come back.

Can we see more of Fen in the future? And will his boyfriend become a series regular as well if that happens?

Y&R Spoilers – Zach Tinker’s Other Projects

Currently, Tinker is in Days of Our Lives playing Sonny Kiriakis. Funnily enough, his co-star Greg Rikaart, who played Kevin Fisher in The Young and the Restless, is also his co-star on Days of Our Lives. He said it was quite funny that Rikaart plays his uncle in Y&R and his ex-husband in Days of Our Lives. Tinker was also recently cast in the first season of CBS’ Fire Country. He would play Collin, a charming firefighter.
