General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Asks Laura To Care for Her Boys In Her Absence

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is still not as in the clear as her attorney, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), believes she is. While they may have inked an immunity deal with the D.A.’s office, Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) will be just as stunned when D.A. Jennifer Arden (Jennifer Fields) refutes the offer while claiming Elizabeth is lying. Could something that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and the rest of the PCPD find on Spoon Island during their investigation back up that claim?

General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Baldwin Feels Uneasy About Her Immunity

Elizabeth was stunned when she gave her testimony to Dante and Molly and they just packed their things and thanked her for her cooperation. She is still struggling with so much guilt, and she thinks it’s all about what she did to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), but is it? Elizabeth was in a pretty fragile state for months before she jumped on board to help Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) hold Esme as his hostage. Perhaps that was her way of avoiding the mess she encountered with her parents, and the truth she uncovered about Reiko Finn’s (Mele Ihara) death. Still, Elizabeth may be seeking to pay penance for what she did to Reiko, and using what she did to Esme as the catalyst. When the PCPD didn’t hold her accountable, it left her feeling like she still hasn’t done the right thing or paid for what she did do.

GH Spoilers – Hint The D.A. Does, Too

In a weird twist, D.A. Arden just might agree with Elizabeth on that front. She wasn’t present to negotiate the immunity deal that Molly brokered with Scott. Although it’s a sound contract between the state and Elizabeth’s attorney, the D.A. may find that she believes Elizabeth lied in some part of her testimony. Whether she did or not will appear to be irrelevant if the D.A. wants to consider the immunity agreement null and void and Elizabeth is accepting of that change in course.

General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Baldwin Leans On Laura Collins

When it appears that Elizabeth is actually going to have to pay for her crimes, she’s going to lean on the only person she’s ever really been able to – Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Laura understands how easy it must have been for Elizabeth to get caught up with Nikolas’ scheme, especially if she thought she was protecting the whole town from The Hook. She knows Elizabeth is a good person with a moral compass and she won’t judge her. However, she may be overextended in helping to care for her sons should Elizabeth be sent to prison. With Esme’s baby, Ace Cassadine, coming into the world and needing a home, Laura’s plate is full. How is this going to play out for Elizabeth when her sons haven’t a father.
