Of course, we are talking about The Young and the Restless star Christhel Khalil (Lily Winters) as she recently opened up about some of her makeup secrets, her skin care routine, and the people she looked up to as style icons while she was growing up. She is one of the most beautiful women in the soap industry after all, right? Here’s what she has to say!

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Christhel admitted that she has taken a different approach to makeup now that she’s gotten older. She said, “Absolutely. I definitely pay attention now for clean ingredients. The makeup and perfume industry, for a long time, we didn’t realize how toxic some of the ingredients are. I think getting older is also more about hydration and making sure to stay up on facials. I feel like I definitely pay more attention now than I did before.”
As far as her skin care routine is concerned, Christhel said, “Washing my face every day. I definitely wash my face before I go to bed and in the morning, I usually work out first and then wash my face.”

When asked what she wishes she knew about makeup when she was younger, Christhel admitted that she wished she knew just how much fun it could be. She said, “When I was younger, I absolutely hated makeup, so I’d just wear a little bit of concealer under my eyes, and some mascara. As I’ve gotten older, I can’t really get away with that anymore, so I learned makeup can be fun and I don’t hate it so much.”

And believe it or not, she had two very interesting style icons growing up. She said, “I remember loving Mary-Kate and Ashley [Olsen] and looking at their hairstyles.”
