The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will make a power move and might block her brother Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) Jabot promotion. Billy was just offered back the job that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) vacated given him by Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), a job he once held himself.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Likes To Be In Charge
There’s no doubt Ashley likes to be in charge, and she’s been enjoying the recent power trip she’s been on after buying Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) debt. Having power means having control, and even though she did it for Tucker’s own good, making her his financial savior, it means he owes her so she’s calling the shots. Now that she’s “fixed” that situation, she may turn her mind to fixing the family company, Jabot; it won’t matter that she and Jack recently had a heated argument over it.
Ashley will get into another intense argument, and this time it will be with younger brother Billy. Ashley’s argument with Jack was over Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) but this argument with Billy could be over several things in addition to her.
Y & R Spoilers – Billy Abbott Tends To Be A Mess Up
Although Billy’s enabling of Diane is a burr up Ashley’s behind all in itself, the truth is, Billy’s track record proves that he tends to be a mess up. One time he messed up with the family business so badly he was transferred to a faraway satellite office-where he met Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). That was during the time period Johnny Abbott (Paxton Miskind) was conceived, and his history of personal and professional failures go back for years. Jack recently offered Billy to return to Jabot as co-CEO, a position which entails a lot of responsibility, and Ashley may not feel he can handle it. Billy told Jack he’d think about it and get back to him, since he had tired of the corporate world and gets bored in those kinds of positions.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott May Block The Move
Even though Jack threatened to buy her out of her part in Jabot, he hasn’t yet-that means she still holds some power and decision-making ability. It would be just like Ashley to block Jack’s move to make Billy the co-CEO, and she may even want it for herself, with her end game being sole CEO. Ashley has had a taste of controlling people and situations after buying out Tucker’s debt and controlling him and McCall Unlimited, and sounds like she’s grown to like it.

Ashley’s perhaps getting a bit power-hungry and might move in on all things Jabot. That will include any hiring decisions and perhaps even move to oust Jack!
