The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is at the center of a soapy struggle. Some want his love, and others only care about his money.

Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) can arguably be tagged needing Devon’s money and wanting his love. Devon’s biological father will never supplant the only man he considers a true father, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).

However, Devon might come around to partnering with Tucker so he can build another family business.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gives lip service to friendship. He came to Genoa City, Wisconsin, because Tucker’s mother and Devon’s grandmother, the late Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper), hired the Moustache to run Chancellor Industries.

While Victor admires Devon, he does not want to see him acquire McCall Unlimited. Victor wants to purchase Tucker’s debt from Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), obtain McCall Unlimited, and have his youngest son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) head it.

Doing so would allow Victor to throw another bone to Adam, with Katherine’s family left to work out their problems. Victor does not care whether Tucker and Devon resolve their differences or not.

Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Has An Opportunity

Ashley created a scenario where Tucker can do what is right, for once. She beat Victor to the punch by obtaining all of Tucker’s debt. Doing so puts Ashley in control for the moment.

But Ashley told Tucker that he must convince Devon to buy McCall Unlimited. Tucker told Devon someone else owns his debt, so the offer is not a trap.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is working against Tucker. She was tasked by her father to stop Devon from making a deal with his dad.

Meanwhile, Victoria tasked Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) with torpedoing Tucker’s efforts by working with his cousins. Nate does not want to undermine them again. Viewers will learn how far Dominic’s character is willing to go to please his boss, who also recently became a romantic connection.

Devon told his sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), that her compromise plan was no good. He said that because the prime price he would be given, in agreeing to go along with Chancellor-Winters’ initial public stock offering, means nothing to him

Neil is the man Devon respects above all others. Tucker does not come close to matching Neil’s significance in Devon’s mind.

But as Lily said, Neil is not here on earth any longer. Tucker is, and with that, it is fair to wonder if Devon’s belief in family will enable him to look past grudges and make amends with his biological father through a business deal on Y&R.
