The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease that a spiraling Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) might have a gruesome nightmare. She may dream she is murdered by someone she’s antagonized and she dreams of her own funeral-will it be a pathway to redemption or a wakeup call?
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Spiraling Down At Breakneck Speed
Phyllis’ hate for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has consumed her, and she’s been spiraling downward at breakneck speed. Even her own children, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) have given up on her. She was fired from jobs they’d given her, she lost her hotel, and now she’s drinking till she passes out and teaming up with a dangerous man, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
Phyllis got so drunk she was told by Stark she passed out in the middle of the street. He claimed to have picked her up and saved her life, bringing her into his hotel suite to sleep it off.
Y & R Spoilers – A Life Changing Nightmare
After tipping Stark off to where Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are hiding out at the Abbott cabin, Phyllis sets off a chain reaction of circumstances that will backfire. Phyllis herself may suffer more harm than Diane does, as the result of her teaming up with this very dangerous man. This Diane hate has gone to the point where Phyllis can’t see what it’s doing to her, she’s so consumed by it and it’s taken over her life. When it finally hits home that she’s hurting no one but herself and her efforts have been in vain, again Phyllis drinks too much and passes out. Phyllis soon has a potentially life changing nightmare where she sees her own funeral after her murder by Stark, complete with portrait of her in her good days and people crying.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Wake Up Call?
Phyllis can see people she didn’t care much about who she had no idea cared so much about her mourn her loss, and embrace in tears. She wants to tell them she’s there, she’s not dead and gone, but she can’t-she’s not able to get through. She sees her children talking about how they wished they’d seen the signs of her needing help, and not just thinking she was being a drama queen wanting attention.

Phyllis spends a fitful night tossing and turning and dreaming more about her death and her funeral. She finally wakes up and it’s a real wakeup call-she needs t make some serious changes in her life, before it really is too late.
