General Hospital: Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs)

General Hospital spoilers reveal Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is about to turn on her daughter-in-law, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson), in a very big way. This about-face is going to leave Sasha wondering how she ever let Gladys get so close to her. All of this sure would be a lot easier if Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) were still around to help mitigate the potshots that are sure to be flying between Sasha and Gladys, but he’s not. As the truth about Gladys’ intention comes out, Sasha will be floored as she decimates her relationship with her only remaining family member, and she just might have Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to thank for it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha Gilmore Corbin Prepares For Financial Independence

Sasha is more than ready to be in control of her own affairs again. She has learned her lesson the hard way and worked unbelievably hard to get herself back on solid ground. Her therapist will certainly testify to her sound state of mind and ability to make the right choices for herself. So why is her mother-in-law going to do just the opposite?

It won’t make much sense to Sasha since she has done nothing but displayed how well put together she is now. She is prepared to move on with her life, absent of Brando and Liam Mike, and knows she is strong enough to withstand whatever comes her way. Of course, she wasn’t expecting such opposition on the homefront.

GH Spoilers – Hint Gladys Corbin Slights Sasha Gilmore Corbin On The Record

When Sasha heads to court and asks the judge to return to her all control of her finances, she’s going to be nervous but mostly expecting good news. There isn’t any logical reason the judge should find that Sasha cannot make her own financial decisions anymore.

However, that won’t stop Gladys from throwing a wrench into everything when she tells the judge she is worried that Sasha isn’t doing as well as she or her therapist claims. When she highlights that Sasha’s therapist doesn’t see her all the time or at home — and that she does — she may lend some more credibility to her own opinion. Sasha isn’t going to be prepared to defend herself in this situation, not having any clue that Gladys was working against her.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cody Bell Explains It All

None of this will make any sense to Sasha; she thought Gladys was in her corner. Fortunately for Sasha, Cody may have some answers that she so desperately needs, but she also might be upset with him for not coming forward with what he knows sooner. Still, they were just getting to know one another and Cody didn’t feel like it was his place to insert his nose into her business. Might his confession lead to a friendship — or more — between her and Cody and they work together to free her money from Gladys’ clutches and expose Gladys for what she has done? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead; you won’t want to miss what happens next.
