Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) fans know that Len Goodman retired at the end of Season 31, the first on Disney+. Actually, many critics would prefer if Tyra had stepped down. Anyway, there are obviously a lot of people who wouldn’t mind stepping into Len’s shoes. Now, Peta Murgatroyd thinks that her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy would be the right person to become the next Len Goodman.
Dancing With the Stars Spoilers – Maksim Chmerkovskiy Is Up For Being A DWTS Judge
Recently, with speculation that someone needs to replace Len Goodman, outlets have been asking folks who should take over. Actually, there are plenty of people in the show who could probably do that. However, Dance Moms star, Abby Lee Miller would like to be considered. Not a permanent cast member in the show, she did appear as a guest judge years ago. If nothing else, she would very likely be controversial and add to the drama.
DWTS pro-dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy hasn’t been on the show for a while. Actually, it’s been about six seasons since fans last saw him on the USA edition. In the meantime, he’s been with the Ukrainian version of the show. You might recall that he has experience judging the show. But, when Russia invaded, he ended up trapped there for a while. Probably, the chances of a new season there in 2023 are extremely remote.
DWTS Spoilers – Pro-Dancer Peta Murgatroyd Wants Maks To Judge
Peta isn’t active on the show at the moment as she raises their son and expects a second child with Maks. However, she might consider a return if asked. Albeit, after her baby arrives. Nevertheless, Maks seems to be free, so she told US Weekly that he’d be very good at judging in place of Len Goodman.
The DWTS pro said, “He would love to [be a judge].” Next, she suggested, “I think that’s his next step.” Furthermore, she said, “I think that he’s born to do that stuff. He loves to talk. You know Maks, he will talk your ear off.” Aside from talking a lot, she feels that her husband would be great at giving the competitors tips as he loves to “lecture” people.
