General Hospital spoilers reveal Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) wasn’t expecting an overhaul of his emotions this late in the game. He was intent on bringing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to his knees and being solely responsible for the takedown of one of the world’s most renowned mob enterprises. Instead, he’s going to start feeling rather conflicted about where his loyalties lie — with Sonny, or with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). In turn, Dex will have to lend some serious thought to how any change in his plans might impact his relationship with Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy). Will he be forced to choose?
General Hospital Spoilers — This Makes No Sense
It won’t make any sense to Dex that he feels unsure about taking Sonny down. He’s the one who championed this cause after Michael hired him. In fact, Michael tried to back out not once, but twice, and Dex convinced him to stay in the game. Dex was certain that they could pull this off without getting caught.
The irony is that Sonny has been onto Dex for weeks and has turned the tables — setting him up instead on the very day that Dex believed he would be taking Sonny down. When they are caught in a gunfight, Dex is going to walk away from it a changed man, and he will have to contend with his newly surfaced feelings toward Sonny.
GH Spoilers – Hint Michael Corinthos Isn’t Happy
Michael won’t be happy to hear his hire had taken to Sonny and decided he doesn’t want to pursue any further action against him. At first, he might think Dex was spooked and is afraid to target Sonny in case the mobster has connections that come after him.
Just because Sonny would be locked up in prison doesn’t mean his reach wouldn’t extend outside of its walls. We’ve seen how that works with Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). But Dex is going to assure Michael it has nothing to do with fear and everything to do with loyalty. Dex wants a rightful place in Sonny’s business, and he’s going to do whatever it takes to protect him against his own son — including telling Sonny the truth about what Michael is up to.

General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Jacks Will Be Furious
Currently, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) doesn’t know that Michael is the person Dex has been working for all of this time. Is he going to be forced to tell her the truth, or will he wait until he’s filled Sonny in and begged for his forgiveness? Either way, Joss won’t be thrilled when Dex tells her he’s staying in Sonny’s employ. What happened to his six-month timeline? What happened to his plans to walk away and tell her the whole truth after he had washed his hands of the mobster?
