The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) intends to be a father to the baby he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are having. His declaration was important because of the relationship Sally formed with his brother.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) did everything right. He did not come between Sally when she was with Adam. Then, when that relationship break occurred, Nick offered extra time and consideration because he knew Sally’s feelings for Adam had not abated.

Nick emerged as the more mature option. She preferred the calmness Nick brought to her life compared to the electrified chaos Adam came to represent.

Adam is keeping himself in check, but it has not been easy. Thankfully, he has two women who have led him in a good direction.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will always love Adam because they were married. They suffered the loss of a son, Riley Newman (Malachi Barton), before birth. But they have another son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who has allowed them to remain close ties.
Egan’s character talked Adam through the reveal of Sally having his child but remaining with Nick. Her advice, along with Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case), has proven to be centering. He wants to do right by Sally and their child, or at least that is his intention.

Sally has plenty of experience in various types of professional positions. She has been in love on multiple occasions as well.
Hope’s character got by the best she could in Los Angeles, California. But she admittedly made mistakes that led her to move to Genoa City, Wisconsin. Adam and Nick are glad she did.

The uncharted seas ahead create a scenario where Sally can not see the future. She wants it to be with Nick while also allowing respectful space for Adam to bond with the boy or girl they will have this summer.
However, fans are right to wonder if Sally will still be with Nick when the baby is born on Y&R.
